Part worn tyres,would you use them??

If i could avoid having to buy part worns i would as the only thing that is touching the tarmac when your on your bike is the tyres so i would want to know that they are safe.  However i understand that a lot of the time money is a big problem and i tbh if i had to get new tyres now i would only be able to afford part worns and so would as i wouldnt want to be without my bike. I would however only ride sensibly and would go as fast round corners with them as i dont think i would trust them.
