Glad ur MRS is okay. I agree with everyone else that she was at fault (legally). Headlights should be used to indicate to others that you are there - that does NOT include "social flashing" ( :lol ) letting your mate know you're there, so the driver is also at fault and it could be said that he contributed to the accident, in which case a 50/50 may result.
