Ok guys..
tend to do my own servicing anyway so can usually do most jobs if I have the correct information.. I cant afford garage service prices at the best of times so I try and do as much as Im capable of and only use garages when I really have to..
Buyi8ng the bike I kinda expected the thing woulda been checked over thorourly from the shop.. maybe not thorour enough.. pulled the plugs out and while the colour was good they look like theyve been in there a while going by the discolouration and rust on them.. Didnt wanna risk looking at the filter as it was quite a windy night and Ive seen a tank blown off and dented/scratched before SEPTIKANGEL, I'd never considered that idea before.. top tip..
Brakes Ive done in the past so im reasonably confident with that.. got the copper grease and red rubber grease on standbuy (ordered a set of piston spreaders too just in case, been meaning to buy a set for years).. Ill probably do the rear at the same time..
Ive been told the exup was serviced recently but Ill be checking that too just to make sure..
Need to get some more oil too, not enough for an oil change.. already have the filter handy..
