Best advice is never touch anything to do with Gas unless you are a qualified gas safe engineer!
Second best advice- get the annual service and system covered by British Gas for about £15-20 a month and that covers parts and labour when the snow is outside and the boiler isnt working and all the shops are shut! :eek but their van stock is overflowing
Think on to that row of houses that disappeared one sunny afternoon in middle England about a month ago- werent some children killed and the father badly burnt and arrested and his neighbours now refugees :rolleyes
