I put the nozzle in the tank and just kept squeezing the trigger until all the air in the tank was gone. It takes a while as you think its full but the level drops allowing you to squirt in a bit more. My light came on at 180 miles and from then on I was gentle with the throttle. 76 miles on reserve, for me thats handy to know it can do that. Btw, I agree with you fireblake it certainly would be hard to find a modern replacement.
