Help me choose new gloves

convinced myself that I should go for the tighter M so they can bed in. And I think it was astep too far my palms are not big but my fingers are long and were stuffed to the ends, my thumb got pins and needles, the armour in the pinky dug in to my knuckles and the wrist strap was more on the bottom of the hand rather than around the wrist. The issue was that the large felt perfect from the start but everything I read said get a tighter fit and they will stretch.

It sounds like you made the right choice to switch to the Large size. Yes, leather will stretch, but only by a limited amount. If the gloves aren't at least reasonably comfortable without stretching, they're probably too tight.

Provided the large gloves aren't baggy when they're on, they should be fine.
