If you are going for a colour change you will be far better off using your  good tank, if you use a damaged tank you run the risk of filler sinking pain,t reaction and all the extra prep time costs money. i've just done a complete colour change (toyota pearl white). Full colour change  you will be looking at approx £80-100 in materials and then  obviously labour on top.
