Does actually say tensioner fault and not cam chain.. Bike isnt particularly a bargain but at least he's been honest in mentioning the rattle.. Lots quiet bikes can be had for same money particularly with cr@p weather around.. Always bought private as never keen on payin someones wages and can generally get feel of the good from the bad within seconds.. Take someone along for a second opinion and good luck with your test.. 
Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it...
