Yes, that area of Germany is attractive, (i've been there in the car with family) and reckon it's good for two wheels as well!
I was wondering how you faired because due to sudden changes here, I might be tempted to get on the bike and go for a week or so myself, (just as well I get on well with myself)!!
[size=78%] It would be short notice so little time to plan but we have travelled france/germany/italy/switzerland area for the last few years with the car so I don't feel daunted by the prospect.[/size]
Was the weather kind or did you get any soakings? How far did you travel on a daily basis? Did you camp?
