Right, so the next time anyone sees a lorry with the same plastic bag and cable tie set-up we should just assume that they've been robbed and they're on the way to a dealer to get a new cap...
Except there's *still* a legal requirement for a securely fitted and sealing fuel cap and if their "decent attempt" to make a temporary repair turns out to be not so decent after all and then end up spilling diesel on a roundabout, I'm sure that's not going to be much compensation to the biker who comes off on it.
