Have had a set of these on the gen 1 1000 for allmost 2 years now. They still work and fit well and have recommended to lots of others.
As said above though there have been reports on some import levers about brake rubbing or the brake lights being triggered at the wrong time so do check. Also the colour on mine (black) did fade fairly fast. But still think they are well worth the cost.
