Don't know about anyone else, but I find the indicator lamp on the Fazer dash to be quite dim and very low down out of sight.
One thing I definitely don't want to do, is leave my indicator on and give cagers another excuse to knock me off.
So tonight I got a 12v Green LED and made another warning light which will be fitted on the inside of my screen (up near the top). Since my screen is almost black, this will be a very discreet installation. I only want one LED to warn me that either left or right indicators are on, so I had to insert a couple of diodes.
All dead simple. Once I'd soldered the LED to the cable, I used 5mm heat-shrink tube to seal the connection as can be seen in the attached photos...
