it is perfectly legal to drive/ride a vehicle as mentioned for 5 working days from the time you buy your tax online so as long as you buy it before the end of the month and there is tax on the vehicle,if the vehicle is untaxed then im afraid you will have to wait till the tax disc turns up,there was news that the 5 days was to be extended but i dont believe that has happened yet.the law was changed a few years a go and it was to encourage people to buy their tax online
