dropping the forks gives the impresion of more ride hights to the rear (it doesent tho its just the rear ends up higher in relation to the front)wich transfers the bikes c of g further forward aiding turn in speed and giving more feel to what the front tyre is doing (at the expence of putting more load on an allready squishy set of forks) which is allso what fitting shorter dogbones will do its about altering the handeling characteristics of the bike nothing whatsoever to do with making the bike taller
