And to slide the air filter back far enough, take the EXUP cables out of the retaining clip and pull them completely clear of the frame and airbox on the right side of the bike.
Also, there's a rubber stopper zip-tied to the frame cross rail just behind the front of the airbox. Make sure the lock box on the zip tie doesn't get in the way.
You should be able to get at least 1/4" clear between carbs and airbox rubbers. WD40 on the rubber stubs helps things slide easier, too.
