i allways use the metal cap type tool that fits over the filter!! perfect fit and no chance of slipping off! like rich says? u mank it up and you then end up mankin ure hands uptryin to remove whats left! being where it is too! right be hind the pipes!! you can quite easily get the cap type on with a bit of jiggling? and your ratchet bar will squeeze between the pipes ! you then get to spin it off with no effort!! JOB DUN!!
