I want a camera to record some of my euro trip, will be interested to find out what you ( or any others) think to it. I have seen a HD unit with recorder ( waterproof) in a bike mag for about £80. Its not so much the money more the result I am after.
In 2009 one guy on the trip recorded loads by using a standard camera mounted to a fixed bracket on the rear of his bike...obviously all rear facing , but great if you are the rider behind.
I would fancy something forward mounting , as high up as possible, to capture as much of the action as possible, not some of these 2 foot off the ground shots which only capture the road.
