HERESY! burn him, burn him now!
#7
yes mate! i had one for 5yrs and now have a 600 02 foxeye! like most big tourers they need running regular, if not, brakes etc  tend to sieze up! they are very heavy on tyres, specialy front! rear square off very quickly , and fork seals dont seem to last long either!! right? thats the bad bits out the way!!!! now the good  stuff is!, fantastic engine! go like a train!, i touched  154 on mine! handling wise? stick to road like glue, [with good tyres, i had michelins pilots on mine] although riding position is good, a 6ft plus rider [like me] tend to suffer with neck,n shoulder aches!, this is sorted with bar risers ! 2inches works a treat!! fuel wise? i regular got between 48 t 55 normal riding! down to mid 30,s givin it some!! comfort wise?..... fantastic!! specialy 2 up! its one off them bikes you cant tell if you got a pillion on or not! doesnt seem to affect the handling at all!, saying all that tho, it is very heavy to push about! one of the reasons i got rid of mine was, with not using it alot the brakes would stick and pushing it out me garage was a crippler!! it does have one feature i miss tho? you can remap the motor on the clocks via the fuel n temp clock! nice t have something to play about with!! dont lett anything ive said tho put you off!! if? i wanted a super tourer, with superbike performance, great looks, bullet proof engine, comfort, AGAIN!!!! then it would be one of these!! but now ime a old bstard n fkd up with arthritis me little 600 is enuff f me!!! regards clive
