What tail pack?

Before I got a topbox for putting stuff securely away on days out, I just strapped a kitbag to the bike. The Fazer8 has grabrails which makes this easy as it gives a flat platform with plywood in the bottom of the kitbag to make it all stable. This bag is expandable 40/60l and has external pockets. 2 tie down straps over the bag around the grab rail and a bungee at the back to stop it creeping forward, took about 60 seconds to put it on.  A lot depends on the bike.
