A bit of a faff. I bought it for a Street Triple and that was useless for luggage as the pipes were in the way and no bungee hooks. A lot depends on the bike. If its got places to tie the pack down too its a quick job.
I put a piece of plywood in the bottom of the pack to give a more stable base so it sits on the bike better and doesnt move.
Also I pack my kit in a drybag, even in the topbox, as you can squish all the air out and end up with a compact item. If I just loaded up the topbox without that I cant get as much stuff in. Same goes for a tailpack.
