Fazer Down Pipes and how to fit new ones

Does anyone know if stainless 4 into 1's give a better performance than 4 into 2's? (de ja vu - maybe so...)

the delvic system shown in the other post on here is a 4-2-1,basicaly a 4-1 will generaly give a good top end with less mid range where a 4-2-1 will give a better mid range with a smaller top end increase,assuming both exhaust are designed properly
