As well as raising my rear I've also dropped the front forks through the yokes by about 10mm, which has helped make the steering more responsive and I guess has lowered that portion of the bike sufficiently so I have no problems with the side stand. Raising the rear of the bike by using shorter dogbones is a popular mod as the revised geometry makes the soft rear shock that bit firmer and by putting more weight on the front quickens the steering.
Mind leans a lot too, but I've jacked the rear up by putting shorter dog bones on. When on the centre stand the rear wheel is only just off the ground.
