Brace
I have a airhawk seat m8, and its worth every penny on long rides. Its far cheaper than most seat upgrades too.It maybe lifts you 1/2 " over yer stock seat height at max , as it works on a very thin air cushion layer. Too much air reduces the comfort tbh.
When I had my gen2 I got Tony Archer in Huddersfield to rework the seat completely, and back then it was about £70+. BUT it still was not as comfy as the airhawk.
I have done several 3000 mile tours with it on my gen1 ( itself a reworked seat)i, up to 8 hrs a day in the saddle, and its the best I have found so far.
Personally I dont find gel that comfy either, my bum seems to prefer good foam to most typical gel seats.eg a stock 1050 sprint seat was far comfier than the gel equivalent...so do b aware gel may not be the best solution in any case.
