There not a lot of point to really tuning the Fazer it's already in quite a state of tune as it is and the expense for the gains just wouldn't be worth it. As with most things it's down to how much money you want to throw at it, if you must do it for the sake of doing it. I did know someone who was thinking of fitting an early R6 engine into one last I heard he'd given up not because it could be done just how much it would cost to do it he just bought a thou instead!
Fazer’s are cracking bikes as they are
most can’t use what there as standard let alone tuning them. What does pay off and well is to improve the way it handles a decent rear shock and a play with the front end better still fit another there are quite a few that will fit with little work required.
End of the day if you really want more power the best/cheapest way get a different or bigger bike!
