I noticed the PR2's to sometimes have a bit of a grip problem in the wet and Iguess that is the reason for the PR3's! Same rubber compound but different profile! Fitted a set on the 24 of Dcember and went on a long trip. They do the same job on tar in dry weather! Will test them in wet and see!

From tests I've read, PR3 have better dry grip, almost the same wet grip and a bit less durability. I think that's a good tradeoff.

Metzeler Roadtec 6 anyone tried?
