Fairy Liquid contains salt, so not a good idea unless you rinse super thoroughly.
I think a mild detergent is a rather ambiguous phrase, I would say that it's almost certainly safe to use proprietry cleaners like Turtle Wax Shampoo on the bike, I think it contains just soap, surfactants and a bit of polish.
I've never used ACF50 myself, for my last dozen or so bikes I simply coat everything with a couple of applications of Crystal Glo polish and nothing seems to corrode.
