It typifies the general attitude to driving. Most people drive expecting no hazards, then react too late when one appears. :'(
I was always taught to drive pro-actively and anticipate hazards allowing timely reactions.
I certainly could never drive along looking at something other than the road ahead (and behind in the mirrors!)

I used to not give a foc, then I discovered Red Bull and now I don't give a flying foc !!!
