All part of their ways to make more money from the customer.


I recently paid a cheque from CITIBANK for $277 into my Natwest current account.
They asked me to fill in a form. No problem.


Then took 5 days to clear the cheque.
Used a made up (in their favour) exchange rate
AND charged me £10.50 for the privilege.


I complained and the charge was credited back to my account the same day.
