I certainly don't like the stereotypical biker music (metal, rock etc). Apart from that, my tastes are eclectic (e.g. Elbow, Kate Bush, Depeche Mode, Radiohead, Cocteau Twins, Bjork, Blr, The Beatles...).
I like a good dose of classical music though usually have no idea what it is I'm listening to. My other half is a classically-trained musician and has increased my knowledge and appreciation of classical music.
I recommend you listen to "Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis" composed by Ralph Vaughn Williams in 1910. It's astoundingly beautiful, lasting around 15 minutes. It's well worth a listen.
