to test the fan attatch a fused positive feed from a battery to the blue wire and earth the black wire (lift the tank to get to fan wires)..see if she spins
to test the relay take off left hand side panel and remove the relay (note what colour wire goes where) using your leads straight from the battery again put the fused positive to the Brown terminal and the negative to the Green/Black terminal at this point the relay should click and connect the other two terminals inside (brown and blue) use a continuaty tester to check this for 100%
the thermo unit (temp sensor) should make the temp warning led come on for a few seconds when you first turn the ignition on and the go off letting you know that alls well with the circuit.
If you have a fault with the thermo unit let me know and I'll post what my manual says about that (quite lengthy that bit!)
