Another MOT passed, no advisories, but sadly only 1200 miles ridden over the last 12 months.
Going to put that straight tomorrow - 200+ miles around the home counties methinks.

So, a total of 222 miles, great fun out (albeit a bit chilly) and all done on one tank of E5.

Wow that’s great mpg. I did get close to 200 whilst suffering fuel anxiety on my way to Scotland a few years back, but usually start looking for petrol, or the satnav does if I’m in strange parts, at around 180 ish. I’ve never used E10 in the Fazer, and even carry a bottle of Fuel Fighter when abroad, in case E10 is all that’s available. Never had to use it though.Even taking a 1.5 litre fuel cell with me for this weekends French trip, in case there’s any fuel availability grief. Just a peace of mind thing really, as 1.5 litres won’t get me far.

Insurance have more or less said it would cost me most of the insurance payout to have it shipped to a registered end of life facility where I'd have to pay them to strip all the parts before crushing the frame and there wasn't an option to have it back strip and scrap myself after I asked.
So looking for another gold precious to build back into my ride .
So if anyone knows the where abouts of another golden boxeye that'd be great.

Got it out of the shed, gave it a wash, pumped up the tires and had a nice ride up to Ryka's Cafe at Box Hill!

(Although some nice roads have now had 50 or even 40mph limits slapped on them )

Well have bought a 2002 12,000 mile silver Foxeye, see how ot goes
