How to remove keys from petrol cap i took off my fzs1000

Cant get them out for love nor money gotta be something I'm  missing, removed the cap now keys are trapped.

If all else fails, try putting the cap back in place!

Thank you not a option tank sold many moons ago if i remember it can be.achieved just can't  remember how getting old..... lol

You need to push back the ring with the rubber over it as if you were closing it on the tank
