From memory, I think the late Luke/DevilsYam stated that the 2017 shock didn't fit - think it was the height of the reservoir. Stick to the 2008-2016 version, plenty of them around.

Ok thanks for the replies, im not picking the bike up till saturday, just trying to get ahead of myself, will do a bit more research. Thanks again

The latest style r6 shocks fit on, I have one on mine but they do need a couple of things. I put a post up on here about how I fit it. They are actually an easier fit the the older shocks. Devils yam was asking me to help him put a kit together at the time...
