Brighter Headlight bulb?
#1
Hi Guys,

Can anyone recommend / post A link to a replacement build for my 03' fzs600 please?
One that I can buy and straight fit. Do I need to look out for any specific specification for what I can have? or just buy one from Halfords etc.. Thanks

I've used both of these over the years, and they're pretty much the same thing, but on the Boxeye the reflectors are still so poor that although they look bright for other road users they don't really project any decent light onto the road, which is why i added the spotlights as well which do a far better job all round.
I'm guessing there has to be some improvement on the Foxeye bikes, it couldn't get any worse! But having 2 x H4 bulbs will improve things straight away i presume.

I don't think replacing the headlight bulbs with better ones will make much difference.... :z
I fitted cheap chinese spotlights on dipped beam, ...they are so good that I fitted a second pair on High Beam..! :eek

I put Osram Nightbreakers in my '03 foxeye and they are a great improvement over standard. I also fitted some L.E.D.'s to the side of the rad to get me more noticed. They are wired through a relay that switches with the sidelights.
