:lol They all went that way for a little while. I never liked that 'flung paint' look. In the end it was only the colour schemes that put me off having one of the new KLX 650's in 1993. Seeing what a limited range of trail bikes are available now I'd happily have one, bonkers graphics or not :lol

I reckon the GSX1100R nicely sums up the early 90's. A real man's bike, in shite colours, which in reality would be wasted by a well ridden CBR600F (possible in equally repugnant colours). ![]()

Some of that Katana isn't standard though is it?. I'm pretty sure they never came with a belly pan and that rear bodywork is aftermarket I reckon.

It's not standard and I certainly wouldnt describe it as the best but it's certainly interesting
