People who foc about at petrol stations, go's like this. - Pulls up - gets out -realises its a pay at pump
- Go's back in car and focs about ln handbag/glovebox to get card.
- Back to pump card in number in - waits for machine - remove card
- Then gos to get some plastic gloves
- Only then do they remove filler cap
- Fills up with enough fuel to fly the Atlantic
- Waits for the receipt
- Cap back on and walks to bin with gloves and returns gloves still on carrying some tissue.
- Cleans nothing and finally cap on gloves and tissue in bin and gets in car
- Faffs about in handbag/glove box putting card away
- Do they pull off -- like foc do they
- Proceeds to attach sat nav to window and type in their destination
- Adjust mirror - flick hair 10 times and finally go.
I - at last take my turn bang in £5 and I am gone, overtake them 1/2 mile down the road - still flicking hair and focing with sat nav.

Geordie - Alan Partridge got it right - 'it's just noise' Apparently he's just had a 6 month driving ban reduced to 2 months because it would interfere with production for his new show.
Shame they didn't impose a lifetime ban. His Partridge character is one of the most unfunny, boring creations I've ever had the displeasure of viewing :z

FFS!! talk about one rule for them and one for us. :wall imagine the response if you told the beak you'd just started a job after being out of work for a while and your new employers wouldn't be to happy about it,after he'd stopped laughing he'd probably do you for contempt. :finger

You would put the car on a trailer and film him, rather than him being filmed talking/acting and driving, which is not much different to being on a mobile.
A lot of these judges get totally suckered in by defence liars. :rolleyes

Foc me, one of the best English comedy characters ever. Superb.
Quote:Coogan was caught driving his Porsche at 36mph in a 30mph zone, which merits a three-point penalty. He already had nine points from previous motoring offences and faced an automatic six-month ban under the ‘totting-up’ procedure.
Whoops. He needs to be more careful.

[/quote]Remember - I don't commute on it and sometimes it can be up to 5 weeks in-between rides so I like to keep the petrol fresh and only fill up with roughly what I need for the blat I am about to do, £5 will cover 50 miles thereabouts. Otherwise a with a full tank the last bit of petrol could be 2 or 3 months old. And besides a full tank of petrol weighs about the same as me.

How come hot sunny weather normally is regarded as global warming - death - disaster UNLESS it comes on a bank holiday in which case its "glorious" "beautiful" "warm and sunny for many" - "just in time for the weekend". ."Five million drivers hit the roads for holidays and day trips as the weather brightens up"Not one negative remark - even the global warming fans have gone to the beach
