Anyone know the Fork spacer(the tube inside) length ??

Anyone know the correct length of the tube spacer ? I'm going to fit some different springs and need to know if they've been shortened..

You might have more luck if you ask the question in the "General" section.

Also remember that the FZS600's fork inners were updated because the 2000-2003 forks had preload caps added compared to the original 1998-99 forks with no preloaders. This probably would have forced a change in spacer length.
According to my service manual, the '98 bike has a fork spring free length of 323mm and the spacer 200mm

reckon I can work out what I need with that info, the 2003 model has a spring free length of 316.8 mm

length is 183mm on later bikes.  Don't know if its still about but there should be a manual download somewhere on the site
