I use it. Have a search on here for chain lube, wax and you will find loads of past posts discussing all manner lubes for the chain. I use  Puoline Chain Tech. Heres a good one for you http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,20030.50.html
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

I've been getting achey hands on the Fazer which have gotten worse over time and I keep catching myself leaning on them, so on some advice I got a set of bar risers to try out:

[smg id=3189]
[smg id=3190]

Bars are currently spaced 20mm away, the kit includes extra 5mm and 10mm spacers to move them even further if necessary, but this is already pushing the brake hose a bit, so I'll have to get a longer one made if I stick with them. Rest of the cables have plenty of slack, and the bar mounts being angled means it doesn't hit the fairing at full lock Smile

That gap is bothering me though... I'll have to get a deeper clamp top and skim it to fit!

Ive used Wurth chain wax for years. Great stuff, not messy and keeps the chain in good order.
Then again, I do have a chain cleaning OCD  :lol

Well used chain wax and after a week , with a couple of wet runs, result. Roughly about 250miles and definetly a lot less mess than lube and still a good covering of wax on the chain.  Smile

Well not today but yesterday, I adjusted the chain and gave the rear caliper, pots an pads a good clean. I should have done the fronts too and adjusted the clutch while as was at it. It'll need to wait till next weekend now.

Overhauled rear caliper with a stainless kit. Time to open the bleed nipples and let gravity do the work while I get my tea.  :b

What’s your technique for straightening the disc?

Little word of advice........don't do that.
One, it's just wrong, two, i've never heard of a warped rear disc, EVER, and three, don't do that ever again.....please.
You aren't 'fixing' anything by bending a disc. If it needs changing, then simply change it.
I doubt very very much that it's warped anyway, just give your caliper a good clean up and use Red Rubber grease on the outer pistons, do it once or twice a year and it will not misbehave.

Judging by his foot in the photo, that really is a large adjustable spanner isn't it?  :eek

Still won't straighten a disc though!

I better bend it back then Big Grin . Thanks, appreciate your concern darrsi. I overhauled the rear caliper with one of the stainless kits, took it for a run and felt the back pedal pulsing, feeler gauges between disc and pad showed 1.5mm gap (guessing its been bent during a tyre swap in its past) after straightening I checked for cracks with detector spray. Previous owner fitted a new chain believing the old one was the cause of a clicking noise, turned out to be the disc catching the pads.
