Possibly the best FZS1000 around now for sale
#1
I don't want to but if I want to keep on biking I have to sell my FZS1000
Reason, I had a serious operation on my spine and I'm now having trouble handling the weight.

FZS 1000 07 reg  lava red, one of the last if not thee last FZS 23613 miles and unlikely to go up.
I bought the bike on 7/1/13 and it's wanted for nothing since, fully stamped up service history also very recent Dunlop RoadSmarts, New Yuasa Battery put on this week, new heated grips ready to be fitted and everything else below.

Carbon
Front mudguard, Front fairing, Fairing in-fills, Belly Pan, Hugger, Tail unit, Side covers.

Powder coated
Wheels, Fork legs, rear foot-peg hangers.

Dipped
Engine windowed cases, swing arm.

Ohlins rear shock
Diamond like stanchion coating
Staintune exhaust
Oberon bar end mirrors
ASV stubby clutch and brake lever
Ivans jet kit
Gillies rearsets
Hell braided brake lines
4 degree ignition advancer
K&N air filter
ASI removed
Multi gauge
Rizoma Graffio indicators
White dials
Running lights
Givi monokey rack
Digger seat.
Renthal bars 755
Heated grips
Crash bungs
M R A vario screen

Full set of body panels custom painted black with red fleck.

OEM
Seat, indicators, down-pipes inc exup valve, exhaust, mirrors, fairing in-fills, side covers. grab handles, coils x4, exup cables, regulator rectifier,
Sprocket carrier, handle bars, bar weights, engine cases, screen, mirrors.
Front foot-pegs powder coated black,
None STD brake and clutch levers
Possibly some other bits n bats.

That's around £4000 worth of extras, yes I know I was stupid to do it but I wanted my dream bike and it was to be my last bike but the operation changed all that.

Ok so what do I want for it and all the bits that go with it .....

£4000 OVNO

That will include every single thing that I have got for the bike, I've listed what I can remember but without doubt there will be some other bits.
I am at this point not going to sell bits off as I'd rather see it all go together, if it doesn't sell on here I'll try it on ebay and if that fails I'll put the bike to as near as poss to standard and sell the bits off.

And before the pisstakers start with their misplaced humour, yes I know it's a lot of money for a gen 1 Fazer 1000 but it's also a lot of bike.

I'll add pic's ASAP

Sad

Sad to hear it Mick, and after everything you put into this bike. Which is, of course, in the best (and fastest  Big Grin ) colour.

Will you be looking for something smaller and lighter?
You could always switch to the 600.
Or for sheer hooligan fun, the Triumph Street Triple (675) I found to be featherweight after the Fazer thou. It leans you forward a little more, but I found that didn't aggravate my own bad back.

I'll be getting either the Tracer 700 or the CB500X, both very easy to ride bikes, light, low seat height and good MPG.
Another option would be an old classic, RD250/400 LC350, CX500 or something similar. Just gonna be using it for knocking about, my 1000 miles a day are long gone.

CX500 are heavy old beasts so might rule that out. The 650 Eurosport’s are actually quite nice but tip the scales and getting a bit rare / long in the tooth now.
