Check all other bulbs, normally happens when one is faulty.

Just replace it - No idea why it does it when it's running but it's obviously not working right.
I fitted an adjustable flash rate relay which was cheap cos I waited 4 weeks for it to arrive from China but there are some in the UK, just a bit dearer. You might have to make up a couple of wires with spade end connectors as mine didn't fit directly onto my Fazer 1000.

I had the same problem when I first got my Fazer. Turns out bulbs with the wrong wattage where fitted in the aftermarket blinkers.
New bulbs of the correct rating solved the problem. With bayonet bulbs, anything other than 21W will affect the blinking rate.

:agree

Flashing too fast when the engine is running is down to the slightly higher voltage when using the incorrect wattage bulb. It could be a bulb that has failed and "re-made" itself.

you might be able to pin it down to one side btu its an easy and cheap job to replace all 4. The relay is behind the left side panel. You should replace that with an LED specific one if you have fitted LED bulbs
.
Another ex-Fazer rider that is a foccer again
