Came across a dismembered deer in a pool of blood.
Obviously been hit at speed by something.
Certainly makes you think.

Made me think of Rambo  :lol

I love the way you have chosen the only spot in the whole field with matching buttercups
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

Fitted a set of those 'Flowing' indicators as mine were apparently crap and difficult to see.
I had to fit a new flasher unit to suit the LED's and I had an unused one in my tool-box.

OMG, it BEEPS!

What's worse is that it isn't a nice beep but a horrid screech. Guess who will be looking for a non-beeping flasher unit at the MCN Festival tomorrow?

My favourite 'bikers' cafe, Castlewood Cafe, near Uttoxeter, shut down in January. I heard last week that it had reopened recently, under new ownership. Decided to have a ride over from Wrexham on a gorgeous sunny day. I was delighted to find it open again, and they have restarted Wednesday Bike Nights. Have to spread the word to all the old customers who may not know that it has risen from the ashes ! Apparently it is going to be called K1 Cafe.

Not one I knew of but at least I now know where there's a decent café when I'm in the area.

Cleaned and re-oiled my K&N air filter. It seems smoother at lower revs, so I think it's done some good, either that or it's a placebo effect.

Also put some velcro (furry side only) under the top of my screen to stop it buzzing against the fairing, worked a treat!

+1 for the velcro trick on the screen, i used it on the underside of the fairing infill trays as well to stop them vibrating.

Took me about an hour and a half to climb back up Beachyhead afterwards but it was worth it. :eek Another 100 foot and I reckon I could have a ton fifty. :lol
The LS2 FF393 Convert Helmets are good, it just scratched the screen a bit but I think it will polish out. :rolleyes

It's a bit far for me in the evening, Billy, 120 miles round trip, but I shall be there most weekends. The outside covered seating area needs to be rebuilt as it was taken away when the cafe shut.

A ride to the Spiders Web Cafe at Albrighton, Wolverhampton, to meet up with some old cycle racing friends from the 60's and 70's. Beautiful sunny day, quiet roads. I went via Ellesmere, Wem, Shawbury, Lilleshall.

Yes mate. As near as dammit 135 RWHP although he said it was running rich and could possibly do a little better if running a bit leaner.

He suggested  going down in size on the jets but I'm not messing with Mikes work.
He said it was incredibly smooth and the power delivery was spot on just consistently rich throughout.
Does anyone know if a full monty runs a bit rich or not ?
