Decided to finally bleed my rear brake... Found an old bottle of "turtle wax" while looking for my bleed kit so gave it a wash and wax, then clocked a really old bottle of brasso polish so did the silencer! Proper shiney...
Fitted a fender extender (hopefully it'll keep a lot of muck of the engine and down pipes), cleaned the chain + sprockets of old chain lube and muck, gave her a good all over wash, re lubed the chain (without getting the lube all over the place), cleaned + lubed the clutch cable (much smoother now), took some slack out of the throttle cable after adjusting the grip position and made note of a few rust spots that need treating when I get a bit of time and some paint... maybe next wk end if nothing else gets in the way.

But did you get around to bleeding that brake?

Yeah, of course the little bolt holding the reservoir to its thin plastic hanger had seized so had to drill that out...

It is obvious that you are indicating, what is not obvious is which way your going :pokefun

Acquired and fitted a genuine Yamaha belly pan. Makes it look sooo much beter imo. Takes away the skinnyness of the front end. Looks like a real muscle bike now haha
Just the rearsets to go now
Ran it out of fuel (again).
I was wondering why the bike was vibrating as if the road surface was rippled and after a moment, the penny dropped and I realised I’d last filled up 236 miles ago. Fortunately this happened at the end of the M4 and by shaking the bike side to side when moving, and back and forth while stopped at traffic lights, I was able to make use of the “reserve” and reached the petrol station on Goldhawk Road some 4 miles on.
Anyone behind must have wondered what was going on, but at least I didn’t have to push the bugger. :lol
Fit a fresh set of heated grips after my throttle one burnt out... Was only 20 quid more to buy the whole lot new rather than just getting a replacement grip...
