Do you need time to think about that or perhaps phone a friend (Oh! You can't can you) :lol maybe 50 50?
I'm wondering if you are much of a conversationalist in real life, you do go on a bit. :rollin :rollin :pokefun

Now I'm confused and it does not take much. My Mrs said if you can guess how many £10 notes are in my purse you can have both of them, and I said four. :rolleyes

11-59 am still in my dressing gown but about to get motivated get dressed and remove my rear caliper in readiness for the blue spot to go on.
15 mile run on the fazer this afternoon, lovely bright breezy day here (southern derbyshire), up around Dale Abbey. Wrapped up real tight, long sleeved tee shirt, three jumpers, sheepskin coat, balacalava. Didnt feel the cold at all. Need to give some thought to Scorpion exhaust and ecu remap before spring

How bloody cold out on my patio? (No room to move in the shed)
Anyway got the new (To me) Blue Spot caliper on the FZS 600, was easy enough, but as I was informed by a very helpful foccer there is a small amount of work to do to make it fit. The Blue Spot needs a 2mm thick washer between the back of the caliper mounting, where the bolts pass through and the caliper hanger, this is to line up the caliper so it sits central over the disk, also a small amount of material needs to be removed from the front of the caliper hanger to allow it to lift up high enough to line up the front mounting bolt. (Dremel 4000 with diamond engraver did this in 15 seconds) see picture with pen pointing to that area. The rest as they say was obvious, all done bleed and back into hibernation. That's me and the bike.
If anyone is interested I have a caliper hanger and torque/anchor rod for a FZS 1000 Gen 1 all in very good condition, also a set of pads for the same with lots of meat left on them, if your interested send me a PM (or is it IM in here?) see pics
more pics as above
The last pic is of the FZS 1000 Gen 1 bits, If someone genuinely needs them (and not just to sell them on) if you pay the postage they are yours.

Also very useful for a lot of tasks, like shoving, in a glove and riding a Fazer to name but one. :rolleyes
I must be one lucky fella. I commute 100 miles every day five days a week and love it. This also means I get to do regular maintenance every month too.
The weather in this country never gets cold enough to not ride if you have the right gear, and my Mrs buys me anything I need if I'm too tight to buy it myself.

Ahhh! They breed the tough in Wales, but, us wimpy Southern Bastards only ride when the sun shines.
Now I'm going to DUCK :eek
