Drivers side door refused to lock on the fob over the last 5 days or so.
Spent a while trying to find out where the power and wiring for the actuators comes form spent ages looking into it, NO POWER, NO WIRES, fucking things work on a pneumatic system has a small compressor in the side of the boot, it transpired that a air line connector had broken as it attaches to the base of the drivers door actuator. Quick search on the tube found me a video of repair, shame I don't speak Italian, another quick search and found a Mercedes forum where a guy had done a very comprehensive post of how to fix it with little to no costs incurred, took a couple of hours, brilliant post, worked a treat and the connector is now stronger than it was when new.
SLK now 100% up together again, jobs-a-Goodun  Big Grin .

Quick trip down to Halfords this evening to buy some bits and pieces to replenish my stock of useful stuff, feeling really pleased that the Merc is 100% and looking good, about 1/2 mile off the A3 heading towards Halfords at Waterloovile there is a very loud snap/bang, what the f--k, I stopped could not see anything (7-30 pm) and dark carried on to my destination looked around the car in the light from the shops, nothing ????
Got home and looked again under the light of a very bright military LED torch and low and behold,

See 1st picture drivers side mirror indicator repeater £59.99 thank you very much.
2nd picture how she looked before the broken indicator
3rd Picture made me smile again.
Lifes not so bad :lol

I went to see the return match at Kings Lynn. I don't go to watch speedway often as I don't finish work early enough and it's an expensive hobby if you go regularly.
It was great to see Lewis Kerr not only back in action but also winning, despite him riding for the opposition.

Some people can be so harsh and unfeeling when a chap has just had an indicator bereavement.
For your information it is not a hairdressers car it's much more manly it a genuine manicurists mobile nail bar.  :eek :lol

Thanks for the sticker saved, printed, laminated, applied. Looks a treat picture to follow.  :lol

Pink wall it is then. Tricky to get them looking real can do it without if you prefer
It is quicker to remove the car on the left than to redo the new pic but I can do it if you want

Oy Sharpie,
It would be great if you could, wish I had put that pic up to start with I just grabbed one of the old tub and posted it, had I know you were a smart arse I would have posted the second one instead. he he!
I tried to save your vastly improved version to my computer but alas I can not open it, 'jpg thumb' what-ever that is.
Anyhooo it will not open on my Windowa 7 PC.
Might have to do a search to find out why unless you know, seeing as you are such a smart arse lol!

Modified post: I opened the jpg_thumb in Paintshop Pro 9 and re-saved it as a .jpg and it opens fine now

Maybe a "My Little Pony" on the bonnet or those multi colour strands on kids handlebars hanging off the wing mirror - would finish it off nicely.
