What did you do with whatever else you've got?

Went out on the 8 Ball to the Big bikers Breakfast at the Raven Café at Prees Heath. Hundreds of bikes there, some lovely Vincent's, Rocket Goldies, old Jap stuff, a Kwak H2 supercharged thingy, the one that really sticks in the memory was the MZ ETZ250 café racer, bloody lovely and sounded great.

Rebuilt the carbs and fitted them, struck it up and it revved clearly (something it wouldn't do before cleaning etc) then the focer flooded again, I focin hate carbs, dropped them off at a local dealers, let him sort out float height etc.

On positive note all the brakes are now serviced with no sticking and every nut and bolt I could get to has been greased

Steering head bearings tomorrow.
Complete fabrication, I didn't make it up!

Yeah, does seem to be a bit of a lottery these days whether or not someone buying from you will actually turn up and go through with the sale. Oh well, at least it's not a buyer from the bay of evil, so there's some chance. And I've got a queue lined up if this one falls through, as I've underpriced it for a quick sale.

I don't have a guvnor though, so I've placed the amount of the sale price on a bet with a minuscule chance of winning  :lol

Well, it went today  Sad
No arguments over money, as it was priced very competitively. Buyer seemed more than happy.
Can't say I won't miss it, it was fun, if a gnat's on the noisy side!
Now got more money to spend on riding the Fazer!  Big Grin

Took the Ducati for its first ride since the 600 mile service , rode to Avebury hill then back via Salisbury plain , what a cracking little bike , I was worried the lack of fairing might be an issue at higher speeds , but it's not .
