Slow Fuel Gauge
#1
I've noticed since owning my Gen2 that the petrol gauge on it is really slow to show the true amount of fuel when you first start it up?
For instance this morning I started the bike and the fuel bar is flashing to tell me it's low but by the time I've driven 2 miles or so it's displaying 2 bars?
Happens at any amount except full for some reason?
It's not a major problem but just wondering if anyone else's doing something similar?

I think it's just dampened to keep it steady and stop it jumping about as you ride.

On my gen 1 the old fashioned gauge takes a few minutes from cold before accurate.

Mines same, especially if its been on sidestand for a few hours, seems to be slow to stabilize, been like that since I got it.

Mine (Gen 1) shows fuller when accelerating and less when braking - at which point I stop calling it a fuel gauge, more like a fun gauge!

Reckon you could re calibrate that as a G-force indicator.

Those are my principles...if you don't like them I have others.
