Going to take the FZS1000 to Llandow for a track day with the SouthWest Bikers crew. We may have places available if anyone wants to play???
Have the bike in the workshop for fettling - will fit decent rear shock off a B-King - not sure what to do to uprate the front suspenders for track days. USD conversion will be a pain, what can be done with the stock front end?

When is your track day?

At a pinch I'd suggest the 9th June 2017 although if the OP is using US format in the title of the post then it would be September the 6th. I didn't think it was Honda ownership that made you go blind so so not sure what your excuse is :rollin
Haha, cocky foccer,, :lol
Yes, I see now,,the clue is in the title :o
He's thinking a bit ahead aint he ?

It's an annual thing SouthWestBikers do in early June, next year's date is Friday the 9th. I ran the Busa there this year but aiming to do next year's track days on the Fazer. There are some places available in the "very wobbly" and "moderately wobbly" groups so I posted here if any other Foccers want a larf in South Wales.

Very good, I am starting to love the track days.

Have you got a ballpark figure for the costs involved? I've not done a track day before but it's something I'd like to do especially now I've lost weight and can wear leather without looking like an over inflated black pudding.

Hell Pieater, you a new man,, trackdays are the most fun you can have on a bike, go on, do it.

I guess joining SWB makes sense as I'm in Exeter and £65 for an intro into track days sounds like a good deal. I'll probably sign up next month and see if I can get some leather trousers to go with my jacket in the sales in the meantime.

Regarding leathers, you can use two piece as long as they zip together (and ARE zipped together). Though I advise one piece with back protector, good used bargains to be had on fleabay.

I can verify that PieEater is now jolly slim & looks younger & more handsome than ever before!
Annoyingly, that will make him even quicker & smoother on the Fazer! :'(
I would suggest a new forum moniker of PieXEater but he never listens to me anyway! :b
Hope y'all have fun at the track, I would join in but I'm too slow & wobbly, can't afford a respray if I drop m'bike & think leather one-pieces are best seen on Diana Rigg in the 1960's!
Not quite Dianna Rigg........
