Today's "What Floats My Boat"
#21

A Manx Norton, with a four valve head.

A race G50 Matchless.

The stars on a clear night. Sorry about this one, sounds a bit soppy, but I could stare at them for hours and never get bored, diamonds on velvet, etc, etc.

Going outside at night and hearing a bike in the distance having the tits thrashed off it, and thinking, go on sunshine give it some.

Seeing someone else wheelying their bike. Both big AND clever at the same time.

Working away the odd night, no wife, no kids, watch what I want on the telly, free beer, free food, free beer, now I know I mentioned beer twice but it was such a biggie, that I thought it was worth the repeat.

Seeing a bunch of guys on "fully loaded for camping" bikes and thinking, I wonder where they are going? Then usually, I wish I was going with them.

A white and red Yamaha 350N YPVS, 1986 for preference, just like the one I used to have, sob, sob.

There will be more when I think of them.

Summer and a good sun set and a glass off beer whilst gently swinging in my hammock listening to a blackbird singing from the top of the south tower of Sharp Hall, after I have been out on my bike.
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

Treat everything in life the way a dog would- if you can't eat it or foc it, forget it.

in Gods country Lew, the POOL of life Wink

I bred turkeys years ago as everyone in the family wanted a leg. There was never enough legs to feed everyone so I hit on the idea of a three legged turkey and set about cross breeding until one day I finally had my Frankenstein moment and a three legged bird hatched. We bred more and more until we had lots of three legged birds and I thought..

eureka... everyone will get the Xmas wish

trouble is they're that fast we've never caught one :rolleyes
