What did you do with whatever else you've got?
Couple of pictures of the GSX, got a bit of interference issue between cylinder head and tank which I wasn't expecting, its a long stroke 750 but I thought the problem was only supposed to effect the 1100+ engines. Grrr

You sure that's not out of your DeLorean motor?  Wink
Is that a rare part these days?
I'll put it past a few people at work and see if they can help at all, you'd probably start salivating if you stepped into my Electronic Engineer Managers office, it's like a museum of old tv's and audio equipment.

It came with the Jensen Interceptor  :lol

Should be common enough as it is a Rifa 22nF 275V film capacitor with 15mm lead spacing.

Will try the local electronic stores today and if that fails will order 2 off Farnell Electronics

The Amp on its own was about £110 when I bought the HiFi in 1980, it is rated at 40w rms per channel.  Smile

I just showed him and he knew what it was straight away, I can get a couple of the equivalent parts in the post to you today if you want? (no cost to you at all)
Let me know, as I think the post gets collected at 4pm.

Thank you very much for that offer Darrsi, greatly appreciated, but I managed to get one in Maplin at lunchtime.

Fitted it when I came home and all back together and working now  :thumbup . Tested it with an LP, Pink Floyd, Bliss :woot

It should have said 36 year old not 46 year old, bought it in 1980
