Don't forget the Raleigh Tomahawk and the Raleigh Budgie.

The tomahawk was a PC joke as they deemed the Chopper gear change a hazard as you had to let go of the handle bars to change gear, forgetting the fact that the tiny front wheel was lethal when combined with corners and gravel, I still have the scars after 40 years to testify to that one.
The Grifter was one of the first BMX bikes but had yet to be called such, but it was a rich kids bike, the chopper was a working class bike especially for the likes me when your dad worked in a scrap yard ( sorry recycling centre ) and brought your chopper home to you a part at a time.

I had a Chipper  Big Grin

But then later on in life i had a Bomber, d'ya remember them? At the time it was the coolest thing going, a hybrid between a BMX and a racer.
And then some fucker stole it, i was absolutely devastated.  :'(
